Beginning of Fall and Thanksgiving travels

Every year we go out to Greenbluff to celebrate fall.  Many reasons why we go and things we love about it (in no particular order):
1>  The ducks and goats
2>  Aspen sings "When you say nothing at all" with the man at Walter's Fruit Ranch
3>  The pumpkin doughnuts
4>  The pumpkins

It is always such a nice time with everyone.

Another fun fall festivities is a great party some friends that live just uptown from us throw.  We walk over and they have games for the kids and everyone (almost) dresses up and then we walk downtown for trick or treats!

Sawyer was a little blue bear and was also very warm!

We went to Seattle with Daddy in September but this was our first BIG trip.  Driving to Texas for a Deck Thanksgiving!  So great to see everyone, wish we weren't so spread out.  The "road" portion went much smoother than anticipated, thank goodness!

A baby changes everything

Many days in the hospital because he was so little and then had jaundice but everyone there took exceptional care of us.  It was so nice to finally come home!

Sawyer's Birth day

July 17th, 2010...The most wonderful day of my life! So much unknown and so much to learn but it has been so amazing!

A wonderful friend and photographer, Megan, has captured Sawyer in such beautiful pictures here and throughout the months.  She is so amazing in so many ways and we are so thankful to have her in our lives!

Welcome!

I knew when I found out I was pregnant with this little guy that I wanted (and needed) to get a little more connected.  So...I'm finally getting started with this blog so all of our family and friends all over the globe can see us grow and hear about our experiences.  I will post some pics to bring this to date and then post occasionally some of our more exciting times.  Thank you all for all your love and care and for following - The Deck Family
