Ponder

“The adventure of life is to learn. The goal of life is to grow. The nature of life is to change. The challenge of life is to overcome. The essence of life is to care. The secret of life is to dare. The beauty of life is to give. The joy of life is to love!”
William Arthur Ward (1921-1994);
author, educator, motivational speaker

February

It's still cold out...need our extra layers to stay warm, right?!?

Twenty Thirteen

Excited for a new year, no official resolutions but just a chance to look inward, to make improvements, to try to help others more, update this blog more regularly, laugh more and just enjoy everyday of this wonderful life we are given.  Still can't believe my baby had heart surgery about 6 months ago, I still think about it so often and thank God for his miracles.

Family fun on 1.1.13

Aspen is...

Mobius Museum

Papa Jerry and Karen came to town and we all went to this awesome museum.

Amazing tractor for ALL the boys!

Christmas Day

Loved how excited Sawyer was over all of the simple things this Christmas.  I know it will be different as he gets older but definitely embraced it this year.  He's loving the bowling set from Gigi and a marble tower toy we got him.

Only 3 Christmas photos!

I was going through all our photos and thought, I only have 3 pictures from Christmas.  Well, I found more but I was a little worried for a bit.

Other December stuff

Food drive at the fire station

Darin's 39th birthday!!!

Cooking with Jamie for the patients/families staying at The Ronald McDonald House.  So great to be able to provide some home cooked food for these folks and so many prayers for all of them.

Sawyer's 1st true Hudson's experience...YUM!

One of the greatest things that I have joined this year is a moms group called "LiferMoms" at a church in Post Falls.  They offer daycare for Sawyer and he has adjusted so much better than I ever could have hoped.  So great to see all these ladies every week.

Arts and crafts with Evan and Drew

Lighting Ceremony

THE night of all nights in Cd'A

Spokane getaway

Darin decided it would be fun to just get out of town (even if it was just to Spokane).  We headed over shopped around, ate and relaxed.

Walking through Riverpark Square, I asked Sawyer if he wanted to go say "HI" to Santa.  Without hesitation he said "Yes!".  I really didn't know how he would react but it was just precious.  He was a little reserved (I think because he was a stranger) but did so good.  The candy cane didn't hurt either.

Time for snow

The newest thing...snow yoga!

Halloween

The monkey costume didn't last, decided to just stay home and hand out candy instead of venture down to the shops for the big trick or treat event.
